| Michael
M. Novitski was
born and raised in the city and county of San
Francisco. He grew up in the Sunset District and
continued living in
the City through his college years.
After
attaining his AA degree and working as a quality
control manager
at a sheet metal corporation, Mike had a vision
of becoming an
individual broker for silk-screening and promotional
items. He founded
Rocky Point Promotions in 1992. As he became more
familiar with the
manufacturing industry, he invested in his first
embroidery machine and
began his course into the embroidery business.
As
Mike delved into building a clientele base and
invested in additional
machinery, Rocky Point Promotions became successful
by producing quality
workmanship, guaranteeing on-time delivery and
providing friendly and
personal customer service. After experiencing
numerous expansions and
location changes within South San Francisco throughout
the earlier
years, Rocky Point acquired a larger competitive
corporation in the year
2000, making them one of the largest embroidery
houses in Northern
California.
Settling
his business in Spruce Business Park on North
Canal Street in
South San Francisco, in spring of 2005, Mike and
his company, Rocky
Point LLC, was honored by the South San Francisco
Chamber of Commerce
with the 2005 Most Outstanding Business Award
and was recognized by the
California State Legislature and Senate. He soon
thereafter acquired a
long-time South San Francisco offset printing
company, consequently
adding a new dimension to their many products
and services to their
ever-increasing clientele. Mike continues to lead
a dedicated and
devoted staff, maintains loyal clients and continues
to grow and markets
itself solely by the reputation they have built.
