As a personal wish from a member of the Habematolel
Pomo Tribe of Upper
Lake and currently an employee of Rocky Point, we
have set up a Rocky
Point Native American Scholarship Fund for Tribal
members to help
further their College or University education. The
mission for this
Scholarship Fund is to provide monetary assistance
for qualified Native
American Indian students who wish to pursue a higher
level education.
Funding for the scholarships will be based on proceeds
of products
ordered through Rocky Point by tribes for their
use. Ten percent of
the net dollar amount of eligible orders will be
set aside into an
endowed fund to be used to award the scholarships.
